FC Steaua lost the team’s brand (that includes name, logo and colors) in favor of Army’s Sports Club on December 3rd 2014 and since then Gigi Becali’s football club cannot use it anymore. At that time, the officials of FC Steaua hoped to reach to an consensual agreement with CSA Steaua (more about FC Steaua vs CSA Steaua story) so they can still continue to use the brand. Apparently the agreement failed as of yesterday, January 6th, FC Steaua requested a new logo and colors registration to the Romanian State Office for Inventions and Marks (OSIM). The new logo’s design represents an octagram star which includes well-known abbreviation FCSB, standing for Football Club Steaua București. The new colors are blue and yellow. The fans are not very happy regarding the new logo, saying that it has been inspired by Lisa Simspon:
The new logo could be used in two month if it will be approved by OSIM. In this moment, FC Steaua has no logo and no colors. The officials stopped using traditional logo right after the decision of the Supreme Court. The players appeared without logo on the t-shirts in the championship home match against CSMS Iași:
On the official website, the logo has been replaced by an X:
